In order to efficiently implement the project, the partner hospitals jointly established a project team which was accountable for the implementation of individual tasks and the achievement of the project objectives and results as planned. The team was composed of staff members from both hospitals with relevant experience in the implementation of EU projects and practical knowledge to perform tasks entrusted to them:

Moreover, as part of the project, working meetings for the staff of both hospitals involved in the joint implementation of the project were held in the Regional Specialist Hospital in Biała Podlaska and the Brest Regional Clinical Hospital in Brest. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, part of the working meetings planned in hospitals in the project took place on-line. These meetings were on the current implementation of the project and its tasks, discussion over medical issues and training sessions to date, as well as technical terms of the project i.e. concerning the supply of equipment.
All the experience gained from the project will once again allow the partner hospitals to plan further initiatives to improve the quality of care and accessibility of medical services within the border area.
As part of this task, two financial audits of the project were also planned by auditors selected by the partners and responsible for examining the financial accuracy of the project and its operations. The first such audits were performed in February 2020, on the basis of which the partners hospitals managed to positively settle the interim financial report on the implementation of the project for the period 01.03.2019-31.01.2020. After the completion of the project, final financial audits of the project were carried out in partner hospitals, and the Joint Technical Secretariat in Warsaw and the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy approved the final financial report for the period 01.02.2020 – 31.08.2021.
